Meet Dr. Johnson
Dr. Johnson graduated from the University of Washington in 2003 and received his dental degree from the top-ranked University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2007. With almost a decade’s worth of experience working in superb dental offices, including his own private practice in Snoqualmie, he is thrilled to join forces with Dr. Lockett and his team.
In 2013, Dr. Johnson and his wife, Michele, and their three oldest children visited Haiti to meet their “Haitian son,” complete dental exams, and teach oral hygiene to over a hundred children in the orphanage. This experience, as well as multiple surgeries to correct his previous malocclusion, has fueled his compassion and understanding for what it’s like to be a dental patient.
“There comes a moment, even if just for a few seconds, when we must decide to trust the masked professional hovering over us. It’s this trust that matters most to me as a patient and as a dentist.”
Both Dr. Johnson and Dr. Lockett have similar approaches to dentistry: patient first, education, conservative approach, and quality dentistry.
Dr. Johnson has called the Northwest home since the late nineties and lives in Snoqualmie. Last year, he took some time off to work on his debut fiction novel, Saving Fishmelon, a futuristic story that explores the power of relationships beyond the grave. When not writing, Dr. Johnson enjoys hiking with his family, reading, reviewing movies, watching the last ten dramatic minutes of close games, exploring exotic places to write about, and spending time being active with his family.
